Project Description
At the beginning of the project the customer was offered several options for renting servers abroad. Next, determine the optimal configuration, our experts have begun to install and configure virtual platform VMWare ESXi 5.0 x64 for posting it 3 virtual machines. Virtual Machines:
- The main terminal server based on Windows 2008 Standart x64 R2 + Citrix XenApp 6.5 as a terminal
- Reserve a terminal server running Windows 2008 Standart x64 R2 + Citrix XenApp 6.5 as a terminal
- Unix-based server CentOS 6.2 for VPN channel between the office and the server
As the hardware from the office for the organization VPN channel was chosen equipment Cisco 1921. This model is selected on the basis of a possible peak of the canal and the average number of workstations running simultaneously on the server during working hours. The software has been fully provided by the customer.
